Consultancy - Method Statements
When Watford City Council, who employ Paul Rabbitts, the UK’s acknowledged expert on bandstands, required a company to look at the feasibility and methods required to relocate an historic bandstand from its present position in the town centre back to its original location in Cassiobury Park, Lost Art Limited were the company that they came to for the required advice, based on our past history of dismantling and reassembling Victorian bandstands.
An important component of any project is the knowledge of how a particular component process is to be undertaken. In addition to informing the operatives as to how they should be proceeding in a logical and safe manner, the method statements will indicate whether a particular contractor has the knowledge and skill required to undertake a particular project. Additionally, the method statements will form an important part of the CDM documentation and form the basis for risk assessments.
The experience gained by Lost Art on a variety of projects, allied to the knowledge, experience and expertise of our craft specialists and project supervisors make us the ideal choice to research and produce detailed and workable method statements for heritage based projects. With funding supervised by experts in the field and the requirement for historically accurate methods and components, it is important to be confident that a particular job will be undertaken in the correct manner, using the correct methods and materials to the correct specification.
