A full inspection, condition report and proposals for restoration of the fountain in the gardens of the historical residence of The Earls of Aberdeen and Marquesses of Aberdeen, who, in succession, have lived on the site for over 500 years.

A full condition report combined with proposed methodology and specifications for a timber bandstand. The document was then used as the basis for the tender to restore the structure.

A full report into the methods and specifications required to restore an historic timber bench. Lost Art Limited subsequently carried out the conservation work.

A full survey and report of the condition of the cast iron railings and gates. This was accompanied by full repair methods and costings.

Prior to Lost Art Limited carrying out the restoration work to the historic structures, we had provided a detailed condition report, methodology and specification for the conservation work. This was then used as the basis of the tender.

A full examination of gates at The Sele Park in Hexham, identifying necessary repairs and specifying methods and materials for the subsequent restoration work.

SWANAGE BANDSTAND:

A full condition survey of the bandstand – which was missing a roof – followed by methodology, specifications and budget for the restoration of the structure. Following use of the documentation for the project tender, we successfully completed the restoration.

WINDSOR BANDSTAND

WINDSOR BANDSTAND:

Produced for the 90th Birthday of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, Lost Art Limited produced designs for a bandstand to replace the original structure missing from the Alexandra Gardens, in the shadow of Windsor Castle. Following acceptance of our report and designs, we successfully won the tender to produce and install the bandstand, the opening of which gained worldwide media coverage.

Lost Art Limited produced a condition report, methodology and specification for the restoration of the bandstand. Sadly, our recommendations were not adhered to, resulting in a sub-optimal conclusion to the project.

A survey of the bronze fountain outside the Lady Lever Art Gallery in Part Sunlight, Designed by Charles Wheeler and bearing considerable similarity to those in Piccadilly Circus, London. Identification of damage, description of problems with functioning of the fountains and proposals for restoration and repairs.

A survey of the railing panels surrounding the park, identifying damaged sections, the causes of the damage and repair solutions and costings.

A condition survey and repair proposals for the stone fountain in the re-created Scottish Renaissance walled garden, notable for featuring vibrant floral designs and the approximately 6 kilometres of shaped box hedging.

Lost Art Limited were commissioned by Preston City Council to carry out a visual site survey to all four elevations and evaluate the condition of existing railings, stone plinths and support walls.

THE CATHEDRAL CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL, LANCASTER:

Dating from 1851, the school has undergone various modifications since them. Lost ArtLimited were commissioned to examine the interfaces between masonry and windows and provide proposals as to how they could be made safe and secure where remedial work was required.

A survey of the historic glass houses for Sefton Borough Council, in which we identified the main areas of concern relating to the current deteriorating condition of the structures, provided explanations as to the causes of the issues and proposed means by which the condition of the glasshouses could be stabilised, along with budget pricing for the works.
