Drawing inspiration from the classic wrought iron benches of the Edwardian Period, this bench has been specially designed for placing in private gardens, though the substantial nature of its construction also make it suitable for installation in public areas. With appropriate care, the sweeping lines and curves of the bench will provide pleasure and service for generations to come.
The bench features shaped wrought iron slats as would have been the case during the historic period in which this type of bench was originally produced. This type of attention to detail sets our benches apart from other apparently similar benches that may be available elsewhere.
This
bench is specified to resist damage and corrosion, providing for ease
of maintenance and longevity. Initially, the metal components are
electroplated, after electroplating the benches are treated with layers of primer and
topcoat to the required colour in a manner offering the maximum
corrosion protection.
An additional feature unique to Lost Art is that we use copper rivets in the hand assembled benches. These will not rust and therefore prevents both corrosion and unsightly staining to your bench.
This is the single version of the bench and is 2 feet wide.
