PAINT SYSTEMS FOR LOST ART PRODUCTS
electroplated cast iron bench end supports prior to painting with our hi-build vinyl paint system.

Lost Art have adopted a system for their painted cast iron bench ends and supports that offers maximum protection and minimal maintenance.Prior to painting, the ends are electroplated, providing protection against rust should the paint layers be damaged, either deliberately or accidentally.

The hi-build vinyl paint applied as the final outer layers can be mixed to match any existing or planned colour scheme, either by matching to paint samples or the use of standard colour codes – including all the historic colour schemes required by restoration projects.

The use of hi-build vinyl paint means that any damage to paintwork can usually be dealt with on site, a hand applied coating will be touch-dry within an hour, and we can also arrange for the production of aerosol spray paints to match the colour scheme for even faster application and drying times.

This system provides a simple, quick, repair and maintenance option which can be conducted on-site – providing significant time and cost savings over alternative systems such as powder coating.
